Good evening, ATLiens! Welcome back to another daily ReKap. I hope you're all doing well. Let's get straight to it.

Fortunately, the Braves secured a solid victory tonight, winning the game 8-5 against the Cardinals. Max Fried took the mound, putting in an impressive 6 innings of work, allowing 6 hits and 3 runs while striking out 4. It's clear that Max is hitting his stride, delivering strong performances since his return from the IL. He's become a reliable cornerstone in our rotation.

Ronald Acuna Jr. had an outstanding night, going yard twice. He kicked things off with a leadoff homer in the first inning and then smashed his 34th homer in the 6th, both impressive shots of over 400 feet. Acuna has been on an absolute tear lately, firmly establishing himself as the NL MVP frontrunner.

Matt Olson continued his home run streak, going deep for the third consecutive night and notching his 47th homer of the year. This keeps him comfortably at the top of the home run leaderboard.

Michael Harris II also made a crucial contribution with a monster homer in the 6th, a 442-foot blast for his 14th of the season. This game will surely go down in the books, showcasing the Braves' formidable offensive firepower.

Looking ahead, tomorrow night's matchup will see us hosting the Pirates at Truist Park at 7:20PM, with Bryce Elder taking the mound. He's sporting an impressive 11-4 record with a 3.42 ERA.

While Riley took a breather from the lineup tonight, Nicky Lopez stepped up at third base. Lopez has proven to be a valuable asset to the team, displaying his versatility by playing 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, and even closing out a game for the Braves. It's truly remarkable to see such a new addition make such a significant impact.

Thank you for joining us tonight, and we look forward to having you back with us tomorrow!
